Deirdre O'Connor

A native of Dublin, Ireland, Deirdre came to NY in 2002 and knew she had found her new ‘home away from home’. When she first arrived she worked for a construction company based in Brooklyn that provided a complete spectrum of Construction Management and General Contracting for luxury residences in Manhattan. It was from this experience that she developed a real interest and passion for real estate. Deirdre became involved in Property Management for a company that had a couple of multi-family properties in Westchester. For the past six years she has also been involved in real estate rental and sales on the investor side. Her experience in the real estate business and in other industries (namely Telecoms) as well as her sales background, gives her a great understanding of excellence in client services.

Deirdre graduated from the College of Marketing & Design in Dublin with a Degree in Business Management in 1994. She spent several years in Sales & Account Management in the Telecoms Industry in Ireland and Australia. Prior to moving to the US, Deirdre was the Manager of her firm’s Order Processing teams based in both Belfast and Dublin.

Deirdre developed a life changing interest in Yoga during her travels. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher and currently teaches in Yoga Haven in Tuckahoe as well as privately in Bronxville, Scarsdale and Eastchester. She also practices Thai Yoga Massage and teaches pilates. She has a true love for teaching, both for the balance it brings to her students as well has her own life.

Deirdre remains bit by the real estate ‘bug’. She is excited to get started working with buyers and sellers in the present challenging environment.
